Online Scratch coding classes for kids ages 7 to 10 · Live online · Beginners welcome
Big ideas start with small blocks.
Help your child turn imagination into interactive stories, animations and simple games. With Scratch’s visual coding blocks, they explore how code works without wrestling with complicated syntax.
A story they can bring to life.
Imagine a character that moves, speaks and responds when someone clicks it. Your child learns to put instructions in order, repeat actions and make choices, then adds their own ideas: new characters, sounds and challenges.
What they’ll work towards
The goal is to finish with three or four Scratch projects, including a game or interactive story they designed themselves, and to explain how it works in their own words.
Projects adapt to each child’s interests and progress.
More than moving things on a screen.
Your child will practise:
Thinking in steps
Arranging instructions to make something happen.
Spotting patterns
Using loops to repeat actions.
Making choices in code
Using “if this, then that” to react to the player.
Solving small problems
Testing their creation and trying a different approach.
Explaining their ideas
Showing you what they made and how it works.
Explore. Create. Make it their own.
Start with guided activities, combine familiar ideas into a small project, then personalise it. The focus is understanding and curiosity, not getting everything right the first time.
For our youngest learners
We recommend a parent or guardian nearby for the first session or two, mainly to help with logging in and getting set up. After that, most children are happy to code on their own.

What parents say
“I thought he’d lose interest after a few weeks. Instead, coding became his favorite activity. He’s learning, creating, and having fun. What more could I ask for?”
Who teaches your child
Classes are led by a working software developer: someone who builds web applications, mobile apps and business systems for clients, and who has experience teaching young learners. That means your child learns how real developers think, test and solve problems, not just how to follow a script.
Your child’s instructor is either Denoms Digital Hub’s founder or a developer from our team. You’ll meet them in the free trial class before you decide anything.
