Game coding classes for kids ages 11 to 14 · JavaScript or Python · Live online · Beginners welcome
Don’t just play it. Build it.
Turn an interest in games into a chance to create. Your child explores JavaScript or Python while building game rules, testing ideas and learning how to find and fix bugs.
Their game. Their decisions.
A player faces a challenge, makes a choice and sees what happens next. Whether it’s a browser game or a text-based adventure, your child builds the instructions that make it work: player choices, a score, and a way to win or lose.
What they’ll work towards
The goal is to finish with a playable game they built and can share with friends, and to explain how it works in their own words: the rules, the score and how they fixed what went wrong along the way.
The project and language depend on the learner’s starting point and interests.
Learn the thinking behind the game.
Your child will practise:
Turning ideas into rules
Deciding what should happen when a player acts.
Keeping track of information
Using values such as scores or remaining lives.
Testing and debugging
Finding out why something behaves differently than expected.
Making improvements
Refining a project and explaining their decisions.
From a small idea to something playable.
Begin with a simple challenge, build the core rules with guidance, then add a personal touch. Learners work towards demonstrating their game and explaining how it works.

What parents say
“Emma went from thinking coding was ‘boring math stuff’ to building a game her friends actually play. She’s so proud of what she created, and I love seeing her confidence grow.”
Who teaches your child
Classes are led by a working software developer: someone who builds web applications, mobile apps and business systems for clients, and who has experience teaching young learners. That means your child learns how real developers think, test and solve problems, not just how to follow a script.
Your child’s instructor is either Denoms Digital Hub’s founder or a developer from our team. You’ll meet them in the free trial class before you decide anything.
Try a free class first

Reserving a place: tell us your availability and we’ll suggest times. When you’re ready to continue, we’ll send payment instructions. Payment reserves the space, then we confirm placement and scheduling.
A few questions.
Good to know.
Everything parents usually ask before booking.
Turn “I wish this game could…” into something they built.
